Hi,

In the paper http://is.tm.tue.nl/staff/wvdaalst/BPMcenter/reports/2007/BPM-07-12.pdf we report the results of an evaluation of jBPM (OpenWFE, and Enhydra Shark). 

The workflow patterns http://www.workflowpatterns.com/ (control-flow, data, and resource perspectives) were used as evaluation framework.
