Here's the print out :

java.naming.factory.initial=org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory
java.naming.provider.url=localhost:1099
java.naming.factory.url.pkgs=org.jboss.naming:org.jnp.interfaces

I tried to run it without jndi.properties, same error.

Is JBOSS4.2.2 not compatible with Hibernate 3.3? I'm getting the latest one.
