Looks like the Portal team needs to update their documentation. The "identify" code is now in a separate module and its source is no longer part of the portal source download. But you can find the directory, and the ldif files it contains, at http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/portal/modules/identity/trunk/identity/src/example/
