Thanks, I'll look into the mentioned tutorial again.

BTW, .. can / (how can) JBoss Remoting be deployed in a non-JBoss App Server (GlassFish, WebSphere etc .. ) ?

One of the requirements for the app. we're to develop is that it be App Server agnostic (as it will be deployed in several different clients networks).
