Looks like a bug. How big is this application and are you able to reproduce this will a smaller application. Please create a JIRA at https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/EJBTHREE with the details and a sample application which reproduces this. I think its more of a MC bug rather than EJBTHREE, but i don't have any clues yet. So please create it in EJBTHREE.
