[jboss-user] [JBoss jBPM] - auto-continue wait state

can i set the pvm auto resume(like calling signal outside) via configuration or programming?
for example, if the externalActivity with exception throw out, then the process would wait for signal, if the externalActivity goes well, then the process keep on moving
