Just talked with Pete M. (seam) about this and it turns out that seam-gen have not been updated to generate fully working JBoss 5. Gone unnoticed to me since noone reported it against tooling.

There is an issue in Seam that i just found which ill pick up and see what we can do about - needs fixing in seam-gen.
