Looks like, on a JSP recompilation, an incorrect classloader is used by the JasperCompilationContext instead of using the deployment's classloader. That effectively results in this error. 

Your best bet to get a solution/fix is to bring this up in the Tomcat forum here (doesn't look JBossWeb issue to me since it involves a core tomcat class) http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewforum&f=50
