[jboss-user] [JBoss Portal] - References to portlet instances

Is there an easy way, via the API, to find out if a portlet instance is being used (referenced on a page)?  I assume one could look at each portal and walk the tree, but that could get difficult if there are lots of dashboards.

Is there another way?
