In JBossAS-5.0.1GA there were changes to tmp file handling. I don't know if this is related to that. But please open a new thread in the AS5 forum http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewforum&f=287 and post the details there (you can point to this thread in your new topic).
