thanks for joining in chris.

i am running 2.6.4 because i have many configuration dependencies on  the portal version, portletbridge, jsf, and richfaces. 

since there are no exceptions being thrown that I can see, I wonder if I am having a configuration issue or if upgrading the portal would solve it. since i do not know the cause of the issue, upgrading the portal could prove fruitless.

as a side note, i am also seeing this issue described as unreproducible. https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBWS-1932
