[jboss-user] [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - changing java options for jboss

I need to modify the JAVA_OPTS to add an option like 
-agent:<my bootstrap agent> but when I do it directly inside of the
run.cmd file it does not seem to have any effect. 

How does one modify JAVA_OPTS for jboss?
