Hi Daniel,
This is a bug. I've created an issue   https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-6176 https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBIDE-6176
You can desable this validation rule in Preferences -> JBoss Tools -> Web -> Seam -> Validator -> Factories -> Unknown factory name. Or switch it to "warning" instead of "error".
