Latest JBossCache production release is 3.2.2.GA.

No fix has been discussed for   /jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/PCACHE-85 https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/PCACHE-85 yet, since a relatively easy to implement workaround was found. If the workaround does not fulfill your requirements, maybe you could help out with the fix?  ;) 

If possible, I would recommend moving to Infinispan even though there's no mapping for PojoCache like functionality yet. This is in the roadmap though:   https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/ISPN-24 https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/ISPN-24. Note that Infinispan requires Java 6 at runtime.
