I am getting the same error.

Eclipse Helios 20100617-1415
Seam Tools    3.2.0.v20100726-0929-H108-M2
Hibernate Tools    3.3.0.v20100726-0929-H108-M2
PostgreSQL 8.4
jboss-seam-2.2.1.CR1

I have tried the suggested fix at < https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-507 https://jira.jboss.org/browse/JBDS-507> but it has not worked.
