Hi all,
 
it is possible to call portlets from outside by an external URL to integrate the portlet as e.g. iGoogle gadget.
E.g: http//demo.jbossportal.com/portlets/newsportlet
 
It should be similar to Remote Portlets, but the client should not be forced to use an application server.
