The Smooks Editor in v3.2.0 of JBoss Tools supports a new and more simplified mapping process that allows users to perform transformations (XML -> XML, XML -> CSV, EDI -> XML etc) without needing to add an intermediate Java Mapping step, as was the case in previous versions of the Editor.

The following is a screenshot showing an EDI to XML transformation in the new version of the Editor.

Note how the process flow is a simple "Input" to "Apply Template".  In the previous version of the Editor, the user would have had to implement an intermediate "Java Mapping" step in the process flow, between the "Input" and "Apply Template" steps as shown below.
