Hi Dennis, did you check out the Emergency Service Demo APP?

It's not an official app, but it show most of the features (60%  :)  ) of jBPM5 and Drools. It also show that ftl forms are not the only way to build applications using jBPM5. Remember that the gwt process console it's just a sample application that shows one of the ways of interacting with your processes. jBPM5 provides you a simple api to build your clients, as the demo app shows.
