nraf, yes - persistence setup will ask for details about your connection and postgres should work there too.

If you mean for reverse engineering then you can take a look at  https://github.com/forge/plugin-hibernate-tools https://github.com/forge/plugin-hibernate-tools
which is a first start at providing features like revese engineering.
