It's a little hard for me to understand the exact use case and project setup. I realize that a seam project is quite large, but if we could have a zipped minimum environment to replicate this, it'd be extremely helpful. 

Maybe gut most of the projects and with the smallest possible set of projects that can reproduce it, I can be able to track down or at least reproduce the error.
