Hello everyone,

i ran into a little problem here and maybe someone can help me with that.
the problem occures if i use the authenticated initialcontext to lookup the remoteconnectionfactory (netty). within the ctx the server is recognized with his ip address but the connectionfactory only uses the servers hostname, which is in our case not resolveable. This leads to the problem that if i try to execute createConnection i receive an UnkownHostException.
Is there a way to prohibite the ctx to performe this ip->hostname transloation during the lookup?

we are using a webstart client with ldap authentication with jboss 7.
cheers,
Valentin
