Ha funny  :)  but you are right, console logging is not recommended for production (so I just read) so I removed the whole thing from the xml file, see  https://community.jboss.org/docs/DOC-10219 https://community.jboss.org/wiki/JBossASTuningSlimming for details. Thanks for your help, I will mark this question as answered.
