    Problems with Installation of JBPM 5.2

<div class="jive-rendered-content"><p><br/><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">I am trying to install JBPM 5.2 package into Linux Ubuntu platform. I have found a few issues with the package.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">Please find the details below :</span></p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">I downloaded the JBPM package from the web from source forge </span></p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;"><a class="jive-link-external-small" href="http://sourceforge.net/projects/jbpm/files/jBPM%205/jbpm-5.2.0.Final/jbpm-5.2.0.Final-installer-full.zip/download" target="_blank">http://sourceforge.net/projects/jbpm/files/jBPM%205/jbpm-5.2.0.Final/jbpm-5.2.0.Final-installer-full.zip/download</a><span> </span></span></p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">1. The JBoss App Server 7.0.2 version comes with the package. After we unzip the </span><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">jbpm-5.2.0.Final-installer-full.zip <br/>&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; the lib directory under the jbpm-installer has the JBoss App Server zip file as shown below.</span>&#160; </p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">verimed1@verimedcloud:~/Downloads/jbpm-installer/lib$ ls -l *.zip</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">-rw-r--r-- 1 verimed1 verimed1 33574546 Dec 11 20:53 birt-runtime-3_7_0.zip</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino; color: #000000;">-rw-r--r-- 1 verimed1 verimed1 79337435 Dec 11 08:20 jboss-as-7.0.2.Final.zip</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">-rw-r--r-- 1 verimed1 verimed1 19025710 Dec 11 08:05 jbpm-5.2.0.Final-bin.zip</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">-rw-r--r-- 1 verimed1 verimed1 41713310 Dec 11 08:05 jbpm-5.2.0.Final-gwt-console.zip</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">-rw-r--r-- 1 verimed1 verimed1 18620875 Dec 11 08:31 org.drools.updatesite-5.3.1.Final-assembly.zip</span></p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">The&#160; </span><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino; color: #000000;">jboss-as-7.0.2.Final.zip does not contain the run.sh and shutdown.sh which are required for starting the</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino; color: #000000;">server and shutdown. I have also tried the tar file for </span><span style="font-family: book antiqua,palatino; font-size: 12pt;">JBoss App Server 7.0.2. It also does not have those scripts.</span></p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">2. The build.xml file is installer home directory references some configuration parameters which are not defined</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">&#160;&#160;&#160; in the build.properties file.</span></p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">i.&#160; jboss.server.conf.dir is based on ${jboss.server.configuration} which is not defined in build.properties</span></p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">&#160;&#160;&#160; According to the script the users.properties and the roles.properties are supposed to be copied to&#160;&#160; <br/>&#160;&#160;&#160; jboss.server.conf.dir</span></p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">ii.&#160;&#160; jboss.server.lib.dir is based on ${jboss.server.configuration} which is not defined in build.properties</span></p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; According to the script the database driver h2.jar&#160; is to be transferred to jboss.server.lib.dir</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; I can make the relevant changes according to the script but then I need to know where exactly the server</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12pt; font-family: book antiqua,palatino;">&#160;&#160;&#160;&#160; expects these files.</span></p><p style="min-height: 8pt; height: 8pt; padding: 0px;">&#160;</p><p><span st
