<div class="jive-rendered-content"><p>It happens because in JPA Preferences for Project you have Platform configured as 'Generic 2.0'. This validation is fixed only for 'Hibernate (JPA 2.x)' Platform which is provided by JBoss Tools Hibernate Console.</p></div>
