But this is what JBoss Developer Studio offers - Eclipse bundled with our plugins. JBDS can be downloaded from http://tools.jboss.org/downloads/ , but unfortunately builds of JBDS are not available publicly during the testing period. Feel free to create a JIRA with such request at https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBDS/ . Then it can be considered. Another option would be to use p2 director via command line to install JBoss Tools into an unzipped Eclipse - that could still simplify it for you. Instructions on how to use p2 director via command line are for instance here: http://www.lorenzobettini.it/2012/10/installing-eclipse-features-via-the-command-line/ HTH, Martin > On 28. 4. 2015, at 14:31, ehsavoie wrote: > > Hi, > Do you plan to provide an Eclipse with Jboss Tools integrated ? > That would make the testing easier since I could just unzip the IDE and test it alongside my current configuration. > What do you think ? > Cheers, > Emmanuel > > > ---------- > Emmanuel Hugonnet > http://www.ehsavoie.com > http://twitter.com/ehsavoie > On Mon, Apr 20, 2015 at 1:27 PM, Martin Malina > wrote: > Hello everyone, > > I would like to inform you that JBoss Tools 4.3.0.Alpha2 is available for testing today. > > You can install this testing build into your Eclipse Luna from this update site: > http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/staging/mars/ > > If you're interested in what updates you can await, see this post from jbosstools-dev mailing list: > http://lists.jboss.org/pipermail/jbosstools-dev/2015-April/009965.html > > If you find any bug, be sure to report it at https://issues.jboss.org/ . If that fails that is the kind of thing we want to get bug reports on! The full package is what we do for developer studio and it is several hundred MBs bigger and also more complex to build and test. We haven't put this into jbosstools cat yet since we generally cant guarantee this package will always work in the early milestones and we don't want to slow down delivery by waiting for it to be ready too. If others on CAT thinks this would help them do more early testing and feedback do let us know and we can consider doing something in this area. /max http://about.me/maxandersen > On 28 Apr 2015, at 14:31, ehsavoie wrote: > > Hi, > Do you plan to provide an Eclipse with Jboss Tools integrated ? > That would make the testing easier since I could just unzip the IDE and test it alongside my current configuration. > What do you think ? > Cheers, > Emmanuel > > > ---------- > Emmanuel Hugonnet > http://www.ehsavoie.com > http://twitter.com/ehsavoie > >> On Mon, Apr 20, 2015 at 1:27 PM, Martin Malina wrote: >> Hello everyone, >> >> I would like to inform you that JBoss Tools 4.3.0.Alpha2 is available for testing today. >> >> You can install this testing build into your Eclipse Luna from this update site: >> http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/staging/mars/ >> >> If you're interested in what updates you can await, see this post from jbosstools-dev mailing list: >> http://lists.jboss.org/pipermail/jbosstools-dev/2015-April/009965.html >> >> If you find any bug, be sure to report it at https://issues.jboss.org/ .
