For future reference, the new pattern for where to find CI snapshots is this: http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/mars/snapshots/ http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/neon/snapshots/ https://devstudio.redhat.com/9.0/snapshots/ https://devstudio.redhat.com/10.0/snapshots/ Then under /snapshots/ look for /updates/ (for aggregate & composite update sites, plus discovery sites) or /builds// for similar content (but including installer jars, site zips, & build logs). If you're looking for a recent build staged for QE/CAT review, then look in /staging/ instead of /snapshots/. Instead of being named for the timestamp/BUILD_NUMBER, these will have a special name like 4.3.1.Beta1 or 4.3.1.Beta1a (matching JIRA label = respin-a). Once it passes QE, the bits will then appear in /development/ (with any respin label suffixes removed). And when that milestone goes GA, it'll also be copied to /stable/. Hope that helps! I suspect my slave exclusion pattern isnt safe since I now see *virt* servers running the tests again. Since Eclipse Neon M3 was released last week it's time to update Target Platform. Eclipse Neon M3 moves to Jetty 9.3.5, so Livereload, BrowserSim and CordovaSim will not work on *master. *We need to use the same Jetty versions that Eclipse have because Jetty had bug with semantic versioning (which is fixed in 9.3.5), so I hope it will be last time when we need to follow micro update of Jetty version. So I propose to move from Jetty v9.3.2 to v9.3.5. See https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-21104 for details. If Jetty upversioning may affect your component, please review suggested change and let me and Nick know about it. -- CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE: This email and files attached to it are confidential. Reusing it ?as-is? in custom products is possible but you'll likely need to specify your own Java classes to configure Aeri for your environment. In addition there is no external documentation available. I assume that you are in full control of your RCP product and the server-side where the error reports should go to. I further assume you are familiar Eclipse development and terms like ?features?. *To integrate the error reporter ?as-is? into your product*, you need to add org.eclipse.epp.logging.aeri.feature to your product. The latest stable version can be found on its stable update site. See [2] for details about the available update sites. To send error reports to your own endpoint you have to specify the *end-point url* in your RCP client by setting a system property ?org.eclipse.epp.logging.aeri.ui.serverUrl? [4] in your product?s eclipse.ini. On the server-side, you need provide a webserver that sends the ?service configuration? under the url you configured above. See [5] for the eclipse.org configuration. The configuration contains various settings and urls like aboutUrl, submitUrl, problemsUrl etc. These values need to point to your urls where you accept user requests. *To integrate a customized error reporting into your product,* you have to integrate org.eclipse.epp.logging.aeri.ui into your product and specify an early startup hook that configures the system to suite your needs. See [6] for the Eclipse IDE setup. All powers, all responsibilities, no documentation... I?ll stop here. There is yet no manual but I?ll add a section to the Wiki [1] afterwards. It will evolve with your questions. Let me know where you need more details. Final note: Please keep in mind that Aeri has *not published any external API*. When using it in your product, copy the version you want to use to your local repository. The others I don't see how to remove nor why since they all play a part. This sounds more like should fix how the skip's works rather than remove them. The issue in JBIDE-15330 seem to because of the many time pointed out bad assumption that skipTest should mean you don't want dependencies to be downloaded. Reported here https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-15332 in 2013. The issue is ${skipTests} and then skipRequirements are used to disable all basic dependency fetching which is simply a wrong/bad assumption. /max > If your project needs to download upstream libraries/runtimes/jars > using something like maven-dependency-plugin, and you have not set > false for those plugins' builds, eg., > https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-livereload/pull/54/ you > should do so. > > This is because I'd like to remove some of the obsolete skip* > variables we have in the parent pom, and you don't want your builds to > fail when skipping tests, as livereload used to before > https://issues.jboss.org/browse/JBIDE-15330 was fixed. > > Here are all the skip-related variables in our parent pom [1]: > > true > ${skipTests} > true > ${skipPrivateRequirements} > and > skipTestsOrITests (which is true when skipTests or skipITests is > true). > > [1] > https://github.com/jbosstools/jbosstools-build/blob/master/parent/pom.xml > > Which of those are no longer used, that can be safely removed?
