I would think it's a bug in the repo. Plug-in projects should not be
imported as Maven projects because they're PDE-driven projects and
there is no m2e-PDE integration. So instead of importing as a Maven
project, I think you'd better copy-paste and adapt a .project file
from another plugin project.<br>
The .project have to be on SCM for Eclipse PDE projects.<br>

Sorry, can't help with it, and as I said, I don't think importing
plugins as Maven projects will work.<br>
