Rob Stryker resolved JBIDE-3230.
--------------------------------

    Resolution: Done

The clicking of the button can still cause *an* exception, though it should no longer be an NPE. If the object on the wire is not serializable or a class cannot be found, that will still show up in an message box. However the error message has been elaborated upon to include not just the exception message but also the class.

The NPE should also be fixed already.
