But I am starting with one of the Central archetypes - so I need to "inject" JPA entities into one of those projects.  :-)  Perhaps this problem goes away when a project started by a Central archetype is automatically a JPA project.  Then I would chose File-New JPA Entities from Tables or JPA Entity.
