Daniel, 

thanks for clarifying your config... Yes, it's OK that you have the only Source Tab in JBoss Tools JSP Editor. (Due to see the Visual tabs you have to install those VPE-plug-ins. But it's on your own).

On the second stacktrace...

I cannot reproduce it in my environment. Could you provide steps to reproduce it? Is there some intermediate steps to perform before save?
