Path in web descriptor should be relative to web root. Resources in folders outside of web root, usually including the project root folder, are not deployed to server and therefore it makes no sense to register them in web.xml. I will implement validation that warns user and disables finish button when target folder outside web root is chosen and registration check box is selected.
