just realized that you mean back from *Application configuration page* to the *Login page* and then forth again (to the Application configuration page again). So yes, in the end of the Login page, a new user is created and there are no cached cartridges any more. So we need to make sure you dont get a new user if you dont change anything in the login page. We may even cache cartridges btw. different users. 

This clearly is am enahncement, no a bug. I'd move this to CR1.
