Should be:

"+Contains m2e 1.0.100, m2e-wtp 0.15.1 and mavenarchiver 0.15, including support for CDI, JPA, Hibernate, JSF, Portlet, Seam, JAX-RS, Project Examples and Maven Profiles Management (Selected)."

2. Otherwise looks good, but bear in mind the m2e.extras feature is on the Extras site, NOT installed into JBDS by default. 

If you want these installed by default you need to add the new feature(s) into this feature

Since that feature is installed by default via the Product definition files [1], [2], you should therefore have it pre-installed in JBDS.

Did you apply a similar change to product/plugins/com.jboss.jbds.central.discovery/plugin.xml into https://svn.jboss.org/repos/jbosstools/trunk/central/plugins/org.jboss.tools.central.discovery/plugin.xml, or is this change ONLY for the version of JBoss Central in JBDS, but not in JBT?
