This has been fixed.  The BA Framework SVN tree at http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/labs/labs/jbosstm/workspace/bencotton/BAFRAMEWORK_0_2_1_GA/ now includes a ../libs/ directory that hosts the XTS api .jar (WST 1.1 compliant).  Also, the com.jboss.ba.demo.*.java source code under this SVN tree has been modified to explicitly import the 1.1 packages.
