Note for potential future work: As XATxConverter is pretty much the only thing that creates XIDs from scratch (other place just copy or modify parts of them) and it does so using Strings as the source material, it may make sense to have it pass the Strings to an XID ctor instead of breaking them down into bytes that the XID toString then has to reassemble into Strings. That could increase the likelihood of an XID having a reasonable string representation.
