BTW what did these scripts do in the old days? Did they add the jacorb jar explicitly?

> Tried using the setup script which does create/augment the CLASSPATH. But it doesn't add the jts-jacorb.jar (or equivalent) for some reason. So when trying to run the transaction manager (using the startup script) it fails.
