I'm seeing this with the latest AS trunk as well.  The AS version is built with JDK 5, but am running my test app with JDK 6 resulting in:
 Caught exception: setProperty must be overridden by all subclasses of SOAPMessage
03-10-2008 12:00:01:  java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: setProperty must be overridden by all subclasses of SOAPMessage
        at javax.xml.soap.SOAPMessage.setProperty(SOAPMessage.java:424)
        at org.jboss.ws.core.soap.SOAPMessageImpl.<init>(SOAPMessageImpl.java:83)
        at org.jboss.ws.core.soap.MessageFactoryImpl.createMessage(MessageFactoryImpl.java:161)

The related/duplicated issues are all closed as RESOLVED but am missing how it is.
