Many DOM API methods, such as setIdAttribute*(), adoptNode(), getTextContent(), etc. were not implemented by SOAPPart and/or SOAPElement implementation. This causes incompatibility with many other 3rd party packages, such as OpenSAML, WSS4J. This also make writing SOAP message processing software difficult for JBossWS.
