The chunk size setup (and thus disabling chunked encoding) is now allowed on the request context through the StubExt.PROPERTY_CHUNKED_ENCODING_SIZE prop.
Otherwise, when using JAXWS 2.1, users can leverage a new webservice feature, ChunkedEncodingFeature.
