I've ported Sergey's fix to cxf 2.3.x maintenance branch on Nov, 3rd, see https://fisheye6.atlassian.com/changelog/cxf/?cs=1030508 .
The fix is to be included in Apache CXF 2.3.1. JBossWS-CXF currently consumes 2.3.1-SNAPSHOT version, so the fix is available.
Can you verify that your problem is gone with Apache CXF 2.3.1-SNAPSHOT / JBossWS-CXF 3.4.0 branch (http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/jbossws/stack/cxf/branches/jbossws-cxf-3.4.0) ?
