Strange thing is that the attached app looks very similar (if not the same) to the testcase we have in jbossws-cxf testsuite, which is passing, see e.g. http://jbossws-qa.jboss.org:8180/hudson/job/CXF-CORE-AS-8.1.0/139/testReport/org.jboss.test.ws.jaxws.samples.asynch/AsynchTestCase/
