You can provide feedback on the current issues related to jBPM4.x by 
commenting or voting on the related JIRA issues.  That would help us 
determining priorities.  Of course patches for existing issues (or new

It is indeed true that the PVM could be leveraged to support multiple 
languages, and we're not planning to remove that.  Our first focus will 
be on BPMN2 though, not on jPDL or BPMN.  Regarding BPEL integration, I 
do agree that they could use some integration, as they are basically 
very similar.  That's why we are planning to reuse as much of the 
components in the architecture as possible with the RiftSaw project.  
When you are talking about integration of BPEL and BPMN, I think there 
are various options, ranging from tool integration over API integration 
to running them on the same PVM, each having their own (dis)advantages.  
So it would be very useful if you could elaborate a little bit on this.
