Tom Baeyens commented on JBPM-1235:
-----------------------------------
What I have in mind for this is the following:
* adding 1 page to the current JSF based console.
* just adding 1 "Business Intelligence" page should minimize the number of updates that have to happen in the hard-to-change console.
* a basic set of reports should be shown graphically with JFreeChart components
* Fady's bamconsole already had such a page. That might be taken as a basis (should be evaluated). But some more thought needs to be spend on the scaling in case there are much process definitions or much process executions.
* The graphs displayed should be limited to those that can be fetched straight from the log table in the jBPM DB
* Which graphs exactly must be shown should be evaluated.
- a basic one should be the average time per activity in a process definition.
- another one could be number of processes started for a given process definition per week or day
- another one could be the duration of process executions per duration slot
What I have in mind should only take approx 2 weeks development effort.
