This bagge tag is not ubiquitous for an inventory -- a library symbol
could be better.
Monitor and Operations are imho ok.
I don't like the pen for configuration, as we can write something on
each tab (e.g. operation start time, plugin config) -
a wrench could be better. Or a gear, as we are already using gears in
the timeline for configuration changes.
The alert flash could use some love too.
I am also not happy with the text bubble for events or the sheet of
paper for packages -- the later should rather
be something like a parcel (see e.g. time line icons for this); a
sheet of paper could also mean configuration or inventory or
a page to put notes for the individual resource.
Icons can be very specific to the cultural background - we should run
those by the interaction designers and
perhaps by some translators, as e.g. the alert-flash looks very much
like a condom to me, which some users
may find offensive.
