Spec issue 878 [1], closed on 27 August, was meant to be on the JSF 2.1
changelog [2] but was missed due to a clerical error.  Roger and I are
sorry about that.  

This was brought to my attention by an Oracle internal JSF spec reviewer
who wanted to ensure that the clarifications we added regarding the
valid times for calling FacesContext.setViewRoot() were sufficiently
documented.
