You should start by looking into the new Authenticator SPI (<a href="http://keycloak.github.io/docs/userguide/keycloak-server/html/auth_spi.html">http://keycloak.github.io/docs/userguide/keycloak-server/html/auth_spi.html</a>).</div><div><br></div><div>First step would be to implement a U2F Authenticator that can replace the current OTP Authenticator for a realm.</div><div><br></div><div>Second step would be to make it possible for users to select which mechanism they want to use if a realm has multiple available. Not sure how exactly we'd do this.
