[keycloak-user] Does the REST API support event creation

Is it possible to create auditing events directly using the REST API?  I'm not finding any method by which I could create events (or admin events) directly by calling the REST service.

Ideally some activities in our external applications would create keycloak event entries, but that does not look like it's possible.
