calling of releaseExternalResources

I found solution in doc. However, I am stuck on
IdleStateAwareChannelHandler's method channelIdle description "Invoked when
a Channel has been idle for a while." How long is "a while"? really
confusion. After read all docs about IdleState, finally I understand I need
add a IdleStateHandler in pipeline before my handler which extends from
IdleStateAwareChannelHandler.
