The javadoc contains a good explanation about up (and down) stream events. Please checkout the <a href="http://www.jboss.org/file-access/default/members/netty/freezone/api/3.2/org/jboss/netty/channel/ChannelPipeline.html">ChannelPipeline</a> page.<br>
