1. deploy Metamer and open http://localhost:8080/metamer/faces/components/richPanelMenuItem/simple.xhtml
2. set leftIcon, leftDisabledIcon, rightIcon and rightDisabledIcon to "chevron"
3. set disabled=true

result:
panel menu item has always disabled icon
